(WNC), a leading network communications solutions provider, will display its innovative solutions for enterprise networking, smart home, and CASE mobility at CES 2024 under the slogan “The Future of Connectivity – Smarter, Broader, Greener”. WNC’s Wi-Fi 7 product line, 5G O-RU products, AI-powered software services and green product designs will be in the spotlight. 

Comprehensive Wi-Fi 7 Solutions
WNC solutions and products for operators include routers, extenders, XGS-PON home gateways and 5G CPEs. By integrating different communications technologies, these products can be combined interchangeably and provide high speed broadband connections. In addition, the mesh networks formed by these products can achieve whole home coverage. With features such as 320 MHz bandwidth, 4K QAM, MLO and MRU puncturing, these solutions allow users to enjoy internet connections with higher speed, low latency and zero interference.

Outdoor 5G O-RU
WNC’s R3210 outdoor 5G O-RU utilizes the latest GaN RF amplifier, achieving maximum RF output power of 5 W or 37 dBm. Its wide coverage and low power consumption can satisfy users’ needs for indoor and outdoor mobile communications. With its PTP and SyncE time synchronization feature and embedded GPS receiver, the device supports all fronthaul networks that comply with O-RAN specifications. The IP67 rating and –40 °C to 55 °C operating temperature range allow the product to operate under extreme environmental conditions. The O-RAN-compliant software and firmware of the product was developed in-house using both licensed and open-source software. As a result, customers can enjoy increased flexibility in equipment selection and encounter fewer obstacles when integrating network devices by utilizing WNC’s RU products to build 5G networks. Our 5G solutions also include a 40 W high-power O-RU, indoor O-RUs, O-CUs, O-DU slim servers, and small cells. Many of the aforementioned products have obtained international certifications for wireless products, passed OTIC interoperability tests and received TIP badges, with the rest to follow soon.

AI-Powered Software Services
As cloud services and big data have gained significance, enterprises and end users are now placing more emphasis on cybersecurity and the quality of service. The software services provided by WNC help customers build secure networks featuring wide bandwidth and low latency. WNC’s enterprise-grade cybersecurity solution builds a zero trust architecture with four major features: continuous validation and monitoring, AI-powered behavioral analysis, event visibility, and rapid updating of countermeasures. For home applications, WNC’s software services include the Smart QoS and wireless sensing system. When multiple applications are utilizing home internet, they compete for bandwidth and can thus negatively impact end users’ internet experience. WNC’s Smart QoS addresses this pain point by monitoring and prioritizing traffic and automatically allocating bandwidth. With regard to WNC’s wireless sensing system, it can be used for home security, health monitoring, sleep quality measurement, fall detection, and in-cabin child presence detection to safeguard personal safety and health.
 

Low-Carbon Design
As WNC continues to research and develop advanced technologies, it also remains committed to green product design. Prioritizing low-carbon, non-toxic, recycled or recyclable materials, WNC focuses on modularization and energy-efficient design principles. In the disposal stage, products should be easily disassembled and recycled. At the same time, we are increasing the share of renewable energies used in our manufacturing processes and have introduced an energy management platform to monitor energy use and reduce power consumption. Furthermore, we incorporate environmentally-friendly materials and simple designs in our packaging materials.
