Charity fundraising and sales exhibition

In response to major disasters or exceptional needs, WNC launches internal fundraising initiatives and provides support such as injury and illness consultation. WNC also encourages employees to help those in need and to donate to charity. For example, instead of choosing to receive company gift certificates or gifts to mark Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival, employees may choose to donate an amount equal to the value of the company gift certificates or gifts to charity. The money donated is given to NTHU, NCKU, and NYCU university service clubs, as well remote schools such as Tunan Elementary School and Siang Bi Elementary School. In 2024, a total of NT$1.48 million was raised, including NT$929,600 contributed by employees.

The fifth of every month is designated as “WNC Charity Day,” when charitable organizations are invited to hold sales events at WNC sites across Taiwan. In 2025, 33 organizations — including social welfare institutions, community development organizations, and social enterprises — participated, generating cumulative sales revenue of NT$427,000. During the same year’s Family Day, WNC also purchased NT$600,000 worth of products from the Ai Jia Bei Workshop, affiliated with the Changhua County Joy Association for People with Polio, to support stable employment.

Joined fundraising in Vietnam to rebuild homes after disasters

In 2025, Vietnam was hit by successive severe typhoons and heavy rainfall, with nationwide losses estimated at NT$118.4 billion. Several employees’ families at WNC’s Ninh Binh site were also affected. WNC promptly activated its employee and family support mechanism, raising internal funds to help 42 affected employees and their families cover home repairs, temporary accommodation, and essential living needs. This accelerated post-disaster recovery, demonstrated timely corporate care and crisis-response capability, and strengthened team cohesion and operational resilience.

Donations to a shelter for homeless elderly in Mexico

The Shelter for Homeless Elderly in Mexico relies entirely on public donations. Employees at WNC Mexico voluntarily donated food and daily necessities to help improve the quality of life for vulnerable older adults. A total of 25 individuals benefited, strengthening community partnerships, encouraging employee social engagement.

Humanitarian care to those affected by floods in Mexico

In 2025, heavy rainfall caused flooding in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. WNC’s Mexico site worked with local government agencies, senators in Mexico, and Taiwanese enterprises to distribute food and essential supplies to affected communities in the city. Nine WNC employees’ families were also affected by the flooding. WNC therefore activated an internal in-kind donation mechanism, with 10 employee volunteers providing repair materials, food, and other essential supplies to help affected colleagues overcome the crisis.

Partnered with customers to support Adaptive Spirit

Since 2020, at the invitation of a U.S. communications equipment brand customer, WNC has participated in the Adaptive Spirit program, joining other companies in sponsoring winter sports development for athletes with physical disabilities. In 2024, WNC contributed US$20,000 (approximately NT$629,000) and became a Silver Sponsor of Adaptive Spirit in 2025, helping more athletes with disabilities access training and competition resources while advancing a diverse and inclusive society.
