Our actions
Rural education for elementary schoolchildren
WNC has long cared for underprivileged children and education in rural communities. Since 2013, WNC has provided sponsorships to Tunan Elementary School in Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County, assisting the school in organizing courses on judo, choir, archery, and Atayal culture. In 2024, WNC employees donated a total of NT$350,000 to the school to cover expenses relating to facilities, equipment, coach/teachers, and tournament participation.
Since 2017, WNC’s social care program has supported Siang Bi Elementary School in Miaoli County, enabling students to practice recurve archery while preserving traditional Atayal heritage for future generations. In 2024, WNC donated NT$200,000 to fund archery equipment, uniforms, and related expenses for competitions. The school’s archery team achieved outstanding performances in the President's Cup, the Youth Cup, and the National High School Games. In 2025, WNC partnered for the first time with Taiping Elementary School, located in a semi-rural area, to launch environmental education courses. By integrating campus and local community resources, the program enabled students to gain ecological knowledge and foster environmental awareness through hands-on learning.
Sponsorship program for rural schoolchildren
In 2019, WNC began working with the Miaoli Chunan Family Support Center on a sponsorship plan for schoolchildren in rural areas. Based on this experience, the company expanded its partnership with the Hsinchu Family Support Center in 2020 to increase the sponsorship scope. In 2025, a total of 120 employees sponsored 120 rural schoolchildren, contributing NT$1,780,000. Through their continuing generosity for the sponsorship program, WNC employees ensure uninterrupted support for children in need.

Differentiated english teaching program
In 2020, WNC and the Boyo Foundation began working together to launch a three-year Differentiated English Teaching Program, providing free, small-group after-school English tutoring for Tunan Elementary School students in Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County. The program aims to bridge the learning resources gap in remote indigenous communities, helping elementary school students seamlessly transition to the middle school curriculum. In the second half of 2023, WNC upgraded the program to a 2.0 version, planning an even more customized dual-track course: For students with limited study hours, the goals will be slightly lowered to help build their confidence and sustain their interest in learning. Those who have sufficient study hours will continue to enhance their English ability through Boyo Foundation’s proprietary materials and be guided by qualitative assessments. The NT$808,000 raised in 2025 was fully dedicated to Tunan Elementary School, covering expenses such as hiring of teachers, learning materials, and English camps. During a one-day English camp, volunteers, including senior executives and top-tier managers, helped 42 schoolchildren learn vocabulary and grammar.
Employee volunteer program: WNC Classroom
Leveraging its core industry expertise, WNC developed a series of foundational communications and science learning materials in 2020. In partnership with NTHU interns, the company designed a series of interactive, game-based courses for elementary students in grades one to six, bridging the rural-urban educational divide. In 2023 and 2024, WNC employees brought these teaching materials to Tunan Elementary School and Siang Bi Elementary School, igniting students’ interest in scientific learning projects and communications technologies. In 2025, in response to elementary school curriculum updates, WNC leveraged its employees’ technical expertise to develop advanced science materials and educational videos, enriching its technology learning resources. In the same year, seven employee volunteers visited Taiping Elementary School to deliver lessons on emerging technologies to 23 students.
Assisting university service clubs
To encourage college students to serve as volunteers, WNC started to provide long-term subsidies for student clubs back in 2009. Its partners include six clubs from universities such as NTHU, and NCKU. In the second half of 2024, NYCU’s Smrangi Sanfu Club was added to the roster. In 2025, WNC and its employees donated NT$1.16 million to these clubs. The funds were fully utilized to support tutoring and science education for underprivileged rural students, and to care for elders, children, and people with disabilities. WNC requires club members to submit proposals and results reports to boost their planning, execution, and presentation skills, helping lay a solid foundation for their future performance.
Tien Cau hope center program in Vietnam
Guided by its belief that every child deserves to grow up with the warmth of a family, WNC’s Vietnam site partnered with Tien Cau Hope Center in Hung Yen Province. The company provides food and daily essentials to the 18 orphans at the facility, ensuring they are well-fed, clothed, and can focus on their education. This support alleviates the caregiving burdens on facility staff, allowing them to devote time to companionship and academic tutoring. In Vietnam, where many vulnerable children lack family support, this donation initiative operates on the principles of sustained resources, transparent distribution, and regular tracking, progressively improving children’s nutrition, health, and learning environments. Ultimately, it builds a more stable and dignified foundation for vulnerable local youth.
CEJUM partnership in Mexico
WNC’s Mexico site partnered with the Centro de Justicia para las Mujeres (CEJUM), a governmental organization dedicated to women’s rights and legal protection. By donating essential goods and providing legal assistance, WNC empowered local women and youth while hosting an educational seminar, “Gender-Based Violence: The Origin and Modern Meaning of Women’s Day.” In addition, the company distributed snacks to 130 underprivileged local adolescents during their Youth Day event and offered legal consultations at its Mexico Site. WNC will continue to deepen its partnership with local communities to empower local women and youth.
